Winter Snow Storm

Oh, how beautiful! The snow is falling down on our land. God's beauty is all around us and is so amazing.
Jonathan could not wait to get out in the snow and has invited the cousins up to play. Rojir has taken the day off. We are working together in the kitchen making apple cinnamon rolls. Yummy! God designed our homes to provide the joy, happiness and satisfaction that each of longs for and needs, whether a child, wife or husband.
Proverbs 31:21-22, 27 She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She makes a tapestry for herself; and her clothing is fine linen and purple...She watchesover the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.May your day be blessed with the joy of the Lord and finding joy in your family.

Although it is winter outside may it always be spring in my heart for God has placed His spirit in me. I will rejoice that I am His and He is mine. Today as we work on our school work and study God's word what joy fills my heart that God so loved me He redeemed me from my sin and made me His child. My hope is that I will share this with Jonathan so that he will see and be granted the faith to believe. How I love this child that God has given to me, but my love pales in comparison to God's love for Him. I pray I may be given the wisdom to show him the way to the Father.

As we enter into a new year, I am studying how to be a woman that pleases God. This is a challenge to put off the things that have weighted me down and kept me from the joy of walking closer with God. Why is it our human nature rebels against what is so wonderful for us? To walk with my savior is pure joy yet I trade that for temporal things. Oh,to be a more godly women, this is my prayer.
